Although already having served their 7-month sentences following a closed-door trial in China, the 3 of them have been denied bail and have remained in custody for over 2 months now after being handed over to Hong Kong on 22 March. At the latest court hearing on 7 June, the Hong Kong Chief Justice made it clear that the 3 of them will face more serious charges with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
