Temple of Demeter is dedicated to the mysteries and ministries of the Great Mother, Goddess of grains and the Earth. The temple has been asked to save the food supply by purchasing lands for New Eleusis, and covering it with heirloom gardens and sustainable homesteading practice. The Goddess tells temple members that all their advances will not help them, if they do not have healthy food to sustain them.
