Alyssia Lain Farlight, also known as Lain for short, is a writer and game developer. They’re hard at work developing and writing games with a focus on providing better representation for girls like themselves; i.e. games full of girls who love other girls. Games with diverse casts that are inclusive of all manner of LGBTQ people; gay/lesbian/bi/pan, trans, non-binary, asexual, aromantic? Queer fiction by queer creators They’ve always loved visual novels and interactive fiction, so when deciding what to work on with their own studio it was immediately obvious to them that they wanted to make those sorts of games. They also wanted to create games which would actually represent their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences and the things they view as important. They want to create works full of queer characters, of the emotional and interpersonal connections between them, and be able to draw from their own experiences and the world around us.
