Nachlass Warlich is Dr. Ole Wittmann. They are an art historian and do research on tattoo history. Their dissertation Tattoos in der Kunst was published in 2017 and since 2015 they have been researching the Hamburg tattoo artist Christian Warlich. In the context of the corresponding research project The estate of the Hamburg tattooist Christian Warlich (18911964), short Nachlass Warlich, they published some books and articles. In 2019/20 they curated the exhibition Tattoo Legends. Christian Warlich in St Pauli in the Museum of Hamburg History. In 2020 two digital versions of the show followed, more information here.
