Eleonor Sandresky is a choreographic pianist who often intentionally engages, challenges, and thoughtfully provokes communities in new ways. Since they were a young student, they have been fascinated by how sound interacts with the environment it encounters. Their work consciously manipulates that process and invites listeners to think about things in a new way, to listen and experience sound and music outside of the traditional confines of a concert stage and to encompass a deeper connection to sound and movement and how they interact and change each other.
