A Light At Sea is marine biologist & nature photographer Dr. Lou Luddington and husband Tom Luddington – adventure coach turned magician and member of The Magic Circle. In September 2019 they sold their house in Pembrokeshire and moved aboard their sailing boat Noctiluca. A year later, after several false start (boat issues, weather and COVID) they set off on a world voyage as nomadic live-aboards. Their mission is to be a light at sea, illuminating the wonders of our oceans through powerful images, video and writing. They believe that by doing what they love, the things that light them up, they can give back to the natural world. Both sailing and photography are expensive pursuits that provide them with constant financial challenges. But with support from their Patrons they can continue with their mission, creating award-winning images, top quality video content and shouting out on behalf of marine conservation. They feel blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people that share their vision.
