A Ringo A Day is Ottavia Baldi, a freelance illustrator from Italy passionate about Japan, and A Ringo A Day is their pet project. Ringo means Apple in Japanese and of course this was more or less like saying an Apple A Day. Or more like: An Image of an Apple A Day. I mean, You get it, right? They’ve been building this visual dictionary for the past 2 years so that they could help anyone (themselves included!) learn a new Japanese word every day. It will always be free, but having Patreon supporters would give them the chance to spend more time on the project, stay motivated, even sleep from time to time (they love sleeping too) and maybe start working on more tangible versions of the words *hint hint*. Not to mention they’ll forever be a wonderful human being in our eyes
