Adam Kamerer is writing poetry in backwoods Alabama. They are the author of Bone Fragments and Ventricle, Atrium, originally published under the pen name Gabriel Gadfly. Their work has appeared in Anatomy & Etymology, Borderline, Subtext Queer Arts Journal, Four and Twenty, and is forthcoming in Versification Zine and Not Deer Magazine. They write because they must. They want their writing to make a difference in the world, even if it’s just a smile or a brief moment of hope to someone who needs it.
