Alan Heath is creating original content relating to travel and history on YouTube although he has been writing about historical questions for much longer. He is a digital nomad. He has worked largely in the publishing industry although he was also involved with real estate, tourism, language services and was a professional soldier. His interest in history is largely related to the twentieth century, especially WW2 and within that his speciality is the Holocaust. He has undertaken original historical research largely on the ghettos and death camps in Poland. He has been aided by his linguistic knowledge which gives him access to first hand accounts. In 2007 he intended to do a book on the Nazi death camp at Chelmno nad Nerem but in the end he just published on YouTube some aspects of what he intended to write. The problem was that he needed to do his normal job in order to pay for things! He is also interested in various other aspects of history, he has done military analysis of battles which he would like to do in more depth. He lives in his motorhome and as such can travel around Europe and visit the sites that interest him. He started on YouTube as a support for the publication he was then working on and the result is that he published everything on one page. He is in the process of building various YouTube sites which are specailised in their own area : history, travel, recreational vehicles, nutrition as well as sites in German, Polish and Italian. He would be grateful for any support as this would allow him to concentrate on producing content.
