Alex V Green is a writer, researcher, and activist based in Toronto. They do essays, journalism, and cultural criticism, and have been published in US and Canadian outlets like The Outline, BuzzFeed, Canadaland, Xtra Magazine, Briarpatch, Slate, and others. But of course, the pandemic hit, and shit hit the fan. Now that they finally have time to write, publications are closing and writers like them are adrift, in search of ways to distinguish and express themselves in the chaotic waning days of global capitalism.
