Alissa White-Gluz is a vocalist and advocate for artists. She’s a world renowned and highly-acclaimed singer, voice actor and pioneer for women in the world of metal music. She may be best known as the frontfigure of the Swedish death metal band, Arch Enemy. Formerly, she was the lead vocalist and a founding member of metalcore band, the Agonist. Alissa’s also a life-long animal activist and vegan. She received a Libby award from PETA for her work in an international campaign advocating against the hunting of Canadian seals. In 2023, she posed as a mermaid in a PETA anti-fishing ad campaign.
