Alyse Ruriani is passionate about mental health. It has a place in all aspects of Alyse’s life as a person with lived experience, as an art therapist and counselor, and as an illustrator whose work revolves around mental health. Alyse synthesizes these parts of himself in order to bring you content from a place that is both personal and professional, utilizing his creativity & skill to bring it all together. In 2018, Alyse started dedicating more time and effort into his design Instagram account. His work began resonating with people and his account grew much bigger and faster than Alyse ever imagined. Alyse shared lots of free content, started an online store, and connected with so many wonderful people. Alyse realized he needed to find other ways to make this sustainable, so that he could continue to offer what he already did and maybe in return get to do more. Alyse also loved the idea of connecting with the people who enjoyed his work, inviting them in to not only see ‘behind the scenes,’ but to truly join me on this journey and engage in the process outside of social media. And that’s why Alyse started this Patreon. Having support from his patrons enables Alyse to focus more of his energy, skills, and passion into his work and out into the world.
