Amanda Kay Wyatt is A.Kay Wyatt. They have a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, with a minor in Technical Theater; several awards in Public Speaking; about 15 years in academic ethics & policy debate under their belt – and they’re homeless. They live their life in abject poverty. Their goals for the Spare a Dime Project are as follows: First – to Agitate: to establish a platform which reveals & discredits social stigmas against impoverished peoples by amplifying their voices. Next – to Educate: to spread awareness about the daily material realities of life under the oppression of poverty by demonstrating why these stereotypes & misconceptions of Classism form the basis of all discrimination within our society. Finally – to Organize: to unite the Poor, so that we may establish a system of governance which genuinely & pragmatically provides for the common defense & general welfare of We, the People. They invite you to join them on this journey, and bring others along, as they change their world for the better. <3
