Anna Sellheim is a cartoonist working out of Baltimore MD. Their comics tend to be about mental health and progressive politics. Their mental health comics are inspired by their life long struggles with anxiety and depression. They do political comics because they are a life long activist (it’s kind of hard not to be since they are a Washington DC native). They do both autobio comics and fictional comics inspired by their experiences. They have some future projects lined up that deal with these issues they are very excited about. They also do fictional comics that don’t fall into either of these categories, but focus on interesting women and aspects of their lives that they feel aren’t represented enough in media as a whole. Things like friendship, self worth, and trying to find one’s place in the world. Some of their future work will be zines that branch out and fall more into this category.
