Anne Marie Miller is a childhood clergy sex abuse survivor who was recently invited to speak to the #MeToo movement and the #ChurchToo movements in response to the sex abuse of a pastor. Once a writer and speaker, they’re now in the beginning stages of working toward their end goal of being an advance practice registered nurse license in psychiatry so that they can help children and their families heal from the trauma of sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is rampant in modern society and sometimes, many years later, sexual abuse survivors find the courage to share their stories. However, we may not know how to respond.
