Armin Sykes has created a number of software tools over the years, but they’re best known for GURPS Character Assistant. They would very much like to have more time to spend on improving and upgrading GCA, starting with finishing the first release version of GCA5 as soon as possible, then working on improvements and user-requested add-ons and extras. The royalties that they earn from Steve Jackson Games only cover a few hours of work on GCA per month, at most. This means they have to spend a considerable amount of time doing other projects to earn a living, and GCA only gets a portion of their free time (usually in fits and starts). They love working on GCA, so they spend more time than they should working on it, but that is not enough for things to progress quickly.
