Artemis Rising Astrology is Deb Williams. As a young girl of 9 or 10, she was fascinated by the night sky, and she collected as many books as she could find on the subject of Astronomy. Even in the deep Michigan winters, she could be found in the back yard at night, bundled up against the cold, with her star books, flashlight and binoculars at hand… lost in that Beautiful Space. During her senior year at an “alt ernative” high school, in the Autumn of 1974, she had the chance to get a free horoscope reading from a professional Astrologer, who was the mother of a fellow student. What she said to her was Astonishing! Mind-Boggling! This was Impossibly Mysterious! How could she know so much about her?!?! She had to know more! And so, eager to understand this Mystery Language, she became her student, beside a handful of others at her school. They studied together a few hours a week for 3 or 4 months… and she has been in Love with Astrology ever since. She kept studying on her own after moving away from home… practice, practice, practice… and has given hundreds of horoscope readings for family and friends over these many years. Astrology has been her tour-guide and the common thread in the background, running through all the years of parenting and home-schooling her four sons… through 20+ years as a self-employed seamstress, self-taught Tipi-maker & owner of Sagebrush Tipi Works. Now, as a Great-Grandmother, she’s been feeling the need to transition away from the heavy physical work that has sustained her for over 2 decades. Even so, until rather recently, she had not been confident enough as an Astrologer to put herself out there to the public. Gone are the days of being a closet astrologer! She started peeking out the door! Gathering her courage, she began offering free monthly NewMoon recordings to a small circle of friends in early 2018. That circle has grown and the feedback she’s gotten has encouraged her to take the next step in sharing her gift with a wider audience: launching her Patreon page… Believing she has something to offer that can help you make sense of the Chaos… and Inspiring Trust in the unfolding Wonder that we all find ourselves immersed in.
