Backbench is a website for opinionated political discussion not filled with hate and fury. For the past six years, Backbench has given a voice to a new generation of political writers providing a platform to express their opinions on seismic political events. In an era when political debates are toxic and sensationalised, Backbench provides a space for reasoned arguments and constructive disagreements. An antidote to the age of outrage.
