Benjamin Spang

Benjamin Spang is a self-published author from the Saar area who writes dark fantasy and horror stories. Benjamin also meets with fans, readers, and booksellers at book fairs, enjoys watching movies, reading fantasy, and … eats very, very much… very, very, very much! 🙂 You don’t have a publisher and that’s because no one wanted to have you, ha! No, Benjamin is self-published by choice. Because he likes to be the boss of his own stories and wants to write stories that he’d like to read. The fact that he wouldn’t mind working with a publisher doesn’t mean that he couldn’t try it out at some point. You must have already published something, right? Can you even write? Besides some short stories, Benjamin published his debut novel, Blood against Blood, in 2016. The sequel, Blood against Blood 2, will be released in December 2018. And what is about your novels? Benjamin has created a darker fantasy world where there is no sun. In this world there are three races: vampires, werewolves, and humans. These races are engaged in a bitter war against each other. And drawings (c) by Simon Kramhller and Marvin Herbring Benjamin Spang tells the story of the young mechanic, Katrina. She lives with her family in the border area. When the father disappears, the mother drowns her worries in alcohol. Katrina flees to their uncle in the city, but has to leave the protective walls shortly to save her mother from a fatal mistake that could have great influence on the outcome of the war. On her adventurous journey, Katrina realizes that besides the werewolves, a blood magician was also specifically looking for her. What makes her so special? The world and the characters were originally designed for a computer game that Benjamin wanted to develop together with other people. The drawings are by Simon Kramhller and Marvin
