Betje Ton is working on a graphic novel and is sharing some bits and pieces about the process. They make comics about what it’s like to be them. Peter and they have three kids, so they find themselves making lots of comics about parenting. Other subjects they draw about are: friendships, married life, running, being an artist, food, struggling with social media and being a control freak who’s trying to control their desire to control everything in life. They’ve been sharing a lot of their comics on Instagram and Facebook over the last few years and that’s been great. For some of their work, they need a little more privacy. Here on Patreon, not just anybody stumbles upon their comics and it makes them feel safe to share about their personal life.
