Black History for White People is a multiethnic collective dedicated to loving Black and Brown people by educating, resourcing, and challenging white people to actively participate in racial justice. The highest calling of humanity is to love. Whether you know it or not, the racial disparities in our country hurt us all. They train us to protect our advantages rather than love others, and that mentality reduces us. Many people have been trained to think that if we learn new things, change will happen, but, knowledge only has meaning if it is applied. When we team up and apply our knowledge collectively, rather than as individuals, greater change will happen. That is why at the end of every episode they have a call-to-action. The call-to-action is a practical way in which white people can push back against racism. It is not enough merely to think racism is bad. When faced with injustice, the only righteous response is to oppose it.
