Black Women Plant Seeds is Kristina, a homeschooling mother of 5 children. Her oldest is 14, 12, 9, 8, and 5 years old. She’s a wife of almost 17 years – worth noting her husband is white. 10 years ago she would not say she would be here having conversations about race. She fell into this. The Lord called her into this. Speaking of the Lord, she loves God with all of her heart but the white folks who have professed to be walking in the likeness of him, are the ones who she has had a hard time with within white church. She believes they are not being salt and light to the world and not only are they hindering people who don’t have a relationship with him but these impersonators are a bad witness to who God truly is. Her calling is to reject that narrative and speak into the lies and sort of restore the witness they are tarnishing on God and his church. She has done some work for the organization @beabridgebuilder, and she also has done some work for the Podcast Pass the mic which is powered by @thewitnessbcc and she also does some background work for Jemar Tisby. She’s so honored that she has been able to serve and be able to also grow while serving these areas in her life with racial concialtion conversations.
