Blackbird Ranch Sanctuary is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization (Tax ID#82-2885644) nestled into the beautiful rolling hills of the Palouse region in Eastern Washington. They offer refuge and sanctuary to abused, neglected and exploited farm animals. Many of their rescued farm animals were at one time victims of the food industry, and with the help of kind individuals, were liberated and brought to Blackbird Ranch for lifetime sanctuary. Although they are a very small sanctuary, on 10 acres, their residents include cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, roosters, turkeys, ducks and pigeons. They strive to create a safe, loving, enriching environment for which these amazing animals can live out their natural lives. Their animals will only ever know love, compassion, respect and dignity.
