Carson McKee is writing, recording and performing for 13 years, inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, James Taylor, John Prine and his dad, who bought him his first guitar and taught him how to play. Recently – his longtime collaborator Josh Turner and he began touring in earnest, a career shift that has inspired him to spend more time putting his music out into the world for the people who enjoy it. To fully make that transition, he needs, as The Beatles said, “a little help from his friends.”
