Charlie + Jake are creating and hosting a monthly live stream combining improvised live looping musical universes with poetry sent in to them from all over the world. They host The Open Collab on the third Saturday of every month over on their YouTube channel. Come on in to their cosy little home studio and let them send looped soundscapes and harmonies from their space to yours. All this is set around the wonderful words of many talented poet collaborators. The project began in April 2020 at the beginning of lockdown and grew out of the need to stay connected and creative as they all experienced major changes to the way music and poetry could be created and showcased. It quickly became clear to Charlie + Jake that poets really valued the chance to share their performances to a new community and hear their words within a new world of music and soundscape.
