Dylan Coleman is working on The Verdigris Anthology, a collection of over 50 of their original songs recorded in mountain cabins, city backyards and secret beach caves. This collection of songs will eventually be cataloged and searchable on their website by title, topic and lyrics, and made available on cassette tape and through digital download. The music will be accompanied by a beautiful songbook with lyrics and chords for each song. They are launching this monthly subscription service to invite people to contribute toward a sustainable livelihood for them while they work on this project. Contributing subscribers will have full access to songs as they are completed, and opportunities to participate and connect with them in the process of creating and compiling this anthology. How it works: you choose how much you want to contribute every month. Most songs and videos will be available only to patrons like you, but they will make some of them available to the public, so that people can keep up with the project even if they are not able to afford a subscription. Their monthly pledge helps them budget, plan and execute this project, and it holds them accountable to keep working on it, even though they always think they should be 10 steps ahead of where they are. Big dreams are a blessing and a burden in that it is hard to stick with the early steps when full fruition is still far away. This way they can feel supported and encouraged as they go, at the pace that this ambitious endeavor unfolds.
