Chris Wineland

Chris Wineland is a late night host. They have been performing comedy all across the country for the past ten years. They were a fax writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the head writer for the only Christian late night show, “Next Week with Jeff Durbin.” They have always been obsessed with late night talk shows. Their whole childhood involved staying up late and watching Jay Leno monologues. So much so, that it became their dream to host their own late night show. For ten years they worked hard in comedy with the hope that a network would give them a show of their own. But television is dying out, and comedy has a new platform. Suddenly, they had a realization: social media allows them to start their own late night show right now! With social media, they can create things that they’ve always wanted to see. They can create fun and ridiculous bits that make people laugh and think, “why would they do that?” They can create something that can be an escape for people who may have had a tough week, or a tough year, or a tough life. Most importantly, they can create something that will make people laugh. So they decided to start, and they couldn’t be happier with the quality of Late Night that they’re putting out. They created “The Monologue Show” with Marcus Pittman and Laura Pittman on Facebook LIVE Monday nights at 11 pm EST. The show focuses on the odd news of the week in the form of monologue jokes and skits. And the best news is, it’s not about Trump! Late night monologues used to focus on telling the funniest jokes instead of sharing a political perspective. Their goal with this show is just to make people laugh before they go to sleep. They also put out skits weekly with their hilarious wife Micah. And every Wednesday morning, they co-host a morning podcast called, “The Wineland Wake up” in which they banter with Marcus, guests and viewers. Everything they put out – whether it’s a skit, interview, game or monologue – it’s all done in the tone of a late night show. They next goal is to combine all those segments together into one full-length late night show.
