Patron Hunt

Christian Watson is making video commentaries on YouTube about culture, politics and current events all with a philosophical twist. They make YouTube videos with a philosophical bent. By becoming a Patron, you’re helping them accomplish a few key aims: 1. You’re supporting them in their battle to defend individualism, personal freedom and other values endemic to the American experiment that are currently under assault from many political forces. 2. You’re supporting their podcast, Pensive Politics, which includes their long-form commentary on current events and hosts politically and culturally important individuals to talk about key principles. 3. You’re helping them upgrade their equipment so they can continue to bring you graphically-appealing, high-quality commentary. By becoming a Patron, you get the following perks: 1. Exclusive behind-the-scenes access to their creative process. You will have access to their unreleased videos which you will be able to comment and pitch suggestions about. You’ll also be able to pose video ideas to them along with the rest of their patrons. 2. Exclusive participation in bi-weekly Patron-only Zoom calls, both group and one-on-one sessions, where you can interact with them and other Patrons. 3. A 30-minute call with them every two weeks to discuss subjects they may have covered in a video, ideas that you’re contemplating in general, or about anything related to life. They’re not a therapist, but it is very important to have someone who is willing to listen to you, especially if you spend time supporting that person’s work. 4. Membership in the Pensive book club (coming soon!). The club will meet three times a month to discuss a book that is selected through group assent from other Patrons. The club meetings will run about an hour in length and will have a theme for each discussion for the group’s consideration. 5. Free merchandise (when it launches).
