This page is an Inspiration from dear friends asking to learn some of the movement (and stillness) arts they have been studying in recent years. Here you will find classes in the various forms of movement they have studied and taught over the past 23 years. They have always loved movement. Throughout their life, they have always been involved in some form of movement, weather it was dance, martial or fitness based. Since they were nomadic, the subject matter of available movement practices they learned varied based on what was available where they lived. In more recent years they specifically sought out the Wudang Internal Martial Arts and Flamenco. There are great bits of wisdom from all the paths they have walked. You may find a technique they learned from let’s say yoga, that they use in their Kung Fu practice. Classes here will be very eclectic. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, they have often found themselves wanting to suggest a movement practice to their clients because they can tell that what was ailing them was a condition caused from a lack of movement, and that they would be better served in the long run from movement. For them, stillness of mind has been just as crucial element in their practices as learning the movement arts. The stillness provides them clarity of mind and emotion. They are able to focus better in their moments of movement from the time they spend in stillness. Subject matter they can find here: Seated meditation, standing meditation, various breathing practices/pranayama, yoga, Thai Massage techniques, Chi Nei Tsang for self care, Wudang Gong Fu Basics, Yang Shen Gong (longevity qi gong), Heaven and Earth Fan, 8 Immortals Staff, and Capoeira based fitness. The tiers of involvement will vary based on the interest of the Patrons as they move through material.
