Through research and interviews with professionals, law enforcement and those affected by crime, Liska hopes to build a better understanding of whether or not Anchorage is, in fact, becoming more dangerous. Special Conversations uses long-form interviews to better understand current issues affecting Alaskans.King of the Hill was a legendary snowboard competition held in Thompson Pass back in the 1990s. Three days and three disciplines: Extreme Day, Downhill Day and Freestyle Day. The entire eventon and off-hill was characterized by an anything-goes, outlaw attitude. There were the partiers, the general participants and the competitors.
