Cynical Reviews is Chris, who runs a YouTube channel called Cynical Reviews, in which he reviews things for the sake of comedy. This usually means terrible movies both new and old, infamous and obscure, but he covers anything if he thinks he can make a good video on it. For instance, he also has taken a look at an awful joke book, a cringeworthy sex ed film, and EA’s abysmal press conference at E3 2018. Chris also offers “legitimate” criticisms of the media or topic he’s discussing, and occasionally makes videos attempting to be a “proper” critic, but the primary focus of the channel has, has been, and always will be, comedy.
