Cynthia Poems is Cynthia, a native Bronx, New Yorker, who is a loud-mouth Dominirican using writing, mainly poetry to explore their identity alongside trauma. They are writing a book, which is why they’re using this platform to provide inside scoop on book chapters, build meaningful connections with people who like their writing, and want to see that craft being developed further. As someone who has lived in various marginalized communities, their art has reflected the painful realities of systems not meant for them. They write for themselves and their chosen community. As a scholar, comelona, reader, advocate and queer person in love, their experiences have shaped who they are, in turn, their direct community. They hope to build a patreon community that is healing, sophistiratchet, hilarious and wholesome.
