Dancia Susilo provides free mental health services on 7Cups text chat. They had a Healthcare specialization in secondary school, got their BA (double hons) in Psychology and Linguistics through the University of Ottawa, and are completing a PGCert in Digital Marketing through Wharton. They hope to complete their MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience through Kings College UK after their current studies. With their passion in mental health, they have given speeches and presentations since they were 12. They started a mental health group in their secondary school to promote awareness and talked to the school board into implementing mental health initiatives as well as providing more resources to students. They then began writing (and later managing) for Psych2Go Organization and Magazine. They published their self-help poetry/photography book Collection of Thought. They worked with local organizations and appeared in public videos/films such as Faces of Mental Health. They have been nominated as Volunteer of the Year several times by various organizations locally and nationally. Now, they are focusing more on peer review writing and direct counselling work. They have upcoming publications through the British Psychological Society.
