David Hopkins is a writer of many things: essays, magazine features, comics, D&D adventures, and speculative fiction. Over the next three years or so, they plan to write and self-publish their epic fantasy series, The Dryad’s Crown. It’s a ten-part series. Each book is a novella – about 20,000+ words or 80 pages, depending on how you lay it out. They are on schedule to release a new book every three to four months. With legal support from David Lizerbram & Associates, this series was created with open content enabling others to write in this world and maintain ownership of the stories they create. (See License and Permission in the Efre Ousel Campaign Setting for more details.) Their hope is to foster a collaborative community, where other storytellers can build upon each others work. With your help through Patreon, they’re able to: Produce the Efre Ousel Campaign Setting Commission a map by award-winning fantasy cartographer, Francesca Baerald Commission interior illustrations by Daniel Decena for The Dryad’s Crown Hire an editor to provide guidance on the series I have other projects in mind, beyond writing my epic fantasy: An Introduction to the Language of Volir Audiobooks of The Dryad’s Crown series A fantasy literature anthology What else? Who knows? I’m looking to build a community that will support my crazy ideas, and better position these independent projects for mass consumption and enjoyment. They greatly appreciate your support, and in return, they will do their best to entertain and inspire with the words they string together. 2021 David Hopkins, unless otherwise noted.
