Derrick Schultz is trying to make a small income from art making. Making art for them isn’t the traditional painting or drawing (they’re terrible at both), but rather art made in collaboration with computers. They feel weird calling it that because people usually think that means playing with fractals, which are cool but not really their thing. Instead using machines and computers as a part of the art practice allows their work to take on many final output forms: prints, drawings, cut collages, 3d prints, the list is long and they want it to get longer.
