E.S. Wynn is the author of over seventy books in print, as well as the chief editor of Thunderune Publishing and all imprints associated with it. In his spare time, he writes stories, builds board games, stitches together battle jackets, edits for authors and magazines, makes videos about Norse Shamanism on Youtube and encourages people to create new art constantly. He is openly transgender and does what he can to pursue acceptance and love for and within the LGBTQIA community, especially where it intersects with Heathenry. During the last two decades, he has worked with hundreds of authors and edited thousands of manuscripts for nearly a dozen different magazines. His stories and articles have been published in dozens of journals, e-zines and anthologies. He has taught classes in literature, marketing, math, spirituality, energetic healing and guided meditation. He has also worked as a voice-over artist for several different horror and sci-fi podcasts, albums and ebooks. Originally, the Patreon page started as just a platform for content related to modern expressions of the mystic or shamanic side of Heathenry (Heathenry being Northern European / Germanic / Teutonic / Norse pagan tradition) but it has grown to become so much more than that now. His interests are many and varied, and he believes that science, science-fiction, shamanism and explorations into other realms should not be held as mutually exclusive of one another. Science is a methodology that can be applied to shamanic practice without stripping the ecstasy out of it, and likewise, if we allow shamanic practice to inform us in our scientific explorations, we can lend a certain flexibility to crystallized understandings of the world around us and how it works. Objectivity and immersion can work synergistically, as actors, artists and spiritual practicioners all over can attest.
