Elijah Walker is starting an LGBTQ+ affirming church in his hometown of Jonesboro, Arkansas. For years, Elijah has held a dream of creating a safe place for LGBTQ+ family to gather, worship, dream, celebrate love openly, and deepen their spiritual practice. Finally it’s time to birth this idea into reality. And people get to be a part of that. This new church, called Solomon’s Porch, recently began gathering for worship every Sunday at 11am at Earl Bell Community Center in Jonesboro. This is the story of a tender, tenacious soul who needs regular support, and people who love and support them.
