ENLIGHTEN The Shadows is a niche targeted service to equip men to find a safe environment where they can speak honestly, feel safe and be supported. They seek to help blokes enjoy the now, learn from the past, and better their future. This is done in the two following ways: -They release WEEKLY EPISODES on YouTube, so that everybody who can access the internet can reach our media that host a wide range of guests that they interview! Audio, Video, Lighting, etc. They also want to improve their influence on social media. -They have already got links with two football clubs and a gym in Nottingham, UK. They are looking to partner up strategically with other communities and establishments that believe in preventing male suicide. By expanding their partnership working in the community they will look to speak into men’s lives. The ETS team has 3 decades of mentoring/life coaching experience, one being a registered nurse. Currently 2 team members are completing a Level 5 Diploma in CBT Therapy. They currently run:-A private Facebook group-ENLISTED mens chat group. -ENHANCEMENT mental health and resilience support programme in football academies. -1:1 Mentoring-Action days/charity events-Suicide/Crisis Response Team-Mental health spaces in local premises -Train and equip all members of the public in mental health accredited courses. They cannot do this alone!! Nor do they think they can help break the stigma associated with men and mental health, without working as community. In this day and age, money talks. They have personally/voluntarily funded all equipment used and resources to provide the best viewing experience to date! But…… They have BIG plans/partnerships to come in the future. They want to provide training on mental health for all, advertise their content, print banners/flyers to places in the local community, print stickers in suicidal hotspots to save men, produce merchandise to promote awareness, and develop/excel themselves to build bigger and better in order for larger imapct/reach!
