Fireside has two goals: to publish great stories regardless of genre, and to pay their writers and artists well. Since 2012, Fireside has been publishing a piece of fiction every week at firesidefiction.com, and they’ve been publishing a monthly Fireside Magazine ebook for their subscribers. The print edition of the magazine, which comes out four times a year, is called Fireside Quarterly. They mostly publish science fiction and fantasy stories, but they don’t limit themselves to genre work: their motto is Nos genres, no limits – just good stories. As long as it’s a good yarn that moves you, they’re down with it. In the last year they’ve also started publishing some essays and poems.
