Fleassy Malay was making awesome and fun vlog style videos and opinions pieces reframing this crazy world we move through, poetry, Spoken Word performances and videos and an endless streams of Facebook Lives. They posted mostly on Facebook and Instagram, and they performed and spoke in Australia and internationally. In 2018, they also founded and ran Melbournes acclaimed NFP organisation and monthly Women’s Spoken Word event, Mother Tongue. Finding the space to take time to write and create can be a challenge, though it is their poetry and spoken word which has FUELED all the above. It’s not only important, it’s their soul expression.
