Footyology is an independent website run by veteran Australian journalist Rohan Connolly, aiming to give the discerning fan of AFL access to quality content on Australia’s indigenous game. Connolly, one of the leading voices on AFL football for 37 years now, is committed to in-depth and quality analysis of the game, free of agendas driven by vested corporate or media interests. He and a team of writers, currently including experienced journalists Shayne Hope and Ronny Lerner, will each week during the AFL season tell you who’s going to win then why they did, as well as staying abreast of the football issues which really matter. But in 2020, they have decided to broaden the scope of the site, the premise that Footyology isnt just a way of looking at AFL football, but a philosophy on life. So you’re not just going to get football here anymore. They’re going to explore other areas, too, be they other sports, music, TV, movies, dare I say it, politics, and life in general. Whatever takes their writers fancy. (And they’re working on getting more of them on board, too). They think it’s going to be a fun ride. And they want YOU to join them on it.
