Fugitive Rabbit is Ruby Ball, a classically trained artist, whose work focuses on themes of fat liberation and Pop Surrealism. She has a passion for painting people, animals, and nature and especially enjoys painting fat folks. She received her BFA in painting from Arizona State University and currently teaches painting classes along with freelancing. She works in various mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and digital. She also does projects in colored pencil, and ink. She’s also the organizer of Fat Folks Tarot Project, a non-profit tarot card deck featuring fat folks created by fat artists, all proceeds from which benefit Trans Lifeline.
