Gary writes articles and teaches online classes to help you grow in deeply-rooted discipleship. After 17 years as a seminary professor he is writing and speaking full time. His Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary is in Church History/History of Christian Doctrine, and he wrote the award-winning book Kneeling with Giants: Learning to Pray with History’s Best Teachers (InterVarsity, 2012). Now he’s a “professor gone rogue,” doing the fun creative work at the core of his mission without the constraints of institutional life.
