Geekerd is Dusty, who has a passion for story telling, maps, geology, science and playing pretend with their friends. In the beginning, they have loved being creative since a young age. They grew up in the wilds of Washington state playing pretend among the majestic Douglas firs, and hiking around active volcanoes. They avidly collected all things D&D but had to keep them hidden under their bed because their parents saw them as “evil.” They never found anyone to play them with so they just wrote stories about adventures, marveled at the dragons and monsters and hoped one day they could play. Years later they earned a geology degree and then moved to SoCal. D&D 5e came out and they swore they would finally play this game, then they found Critical Role and their life has never been the same. The world is forming for the past 4 years they have been swept up in the amazing community that is TTRPGs and Critical Role. They have a passion to create and share stories as well as their personal passions with as many people as they can, or as many as will listen to their crazy ramblings. They play games on twitch, which they would like to get more regular at. They’re developing their map drawing skills, and theyve taken up learning to paint landscapes and models. There’s never enough time in the day! What dreams may come, they have wanted to hone and develop their skills in many areas and with a full time job its hard to balance that time. They developed this very broad Patreon to maybe supplement the time they need to put in to these endeavors so that they can share their passions with you, their supporters. Their ambitions are large but they will try to take small bites. They are hoping to develop games, run some TTRPGs on Twitch and in podcast form.
