Gregory Harrington is a violinist. They have had the privilege of playing an instrument they love and performing as a solo violinist in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, ranging from numerous solo performances in Carnegie Hall in NYC to the National Performing Arts Center in Beijing. Their love and passion for the violin has taken them on a journey and has brought incredible interactions, memories, and special performances. They’ve toured across 4 continents, performed for Presidents and Vice Presidents, celebrities, heads of state and on TV & Radio. Their label (Estile Records) has released 4 acclaimed albums to date. They’re very excited about their upcoming album based on the music of Philip Glass for violin and orchestra out in November recorded with the Janacek Philharmonic and Mark Shapiro which includes their premiere recording of “the Hours Suite” – a work they created for violin and orchestra. They have had the honor of performing the National Anthem in Soldier Field for the Ireland vs All Blacks rugby game, as well as opening the St Patrick’s Day Parade live on NBC on 5th Avenue. More recently, in December 2019, they performed the National Anthem in one of the most iconic NFL stadiums, a capacity Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers. They are always pushing boundaries of their art and new ways to be creative, blending flawless interpretations and musical soul with high end artistic collaborators so that an audience is musically enthralled and entertained. Whether that’s writing, arranging and creating a new work for violin and orchestra based on the music of Philip Glass or programming and delivering intimate performances that juxtapose Bach and Bob Dylan. Their mission is to inspire and affect individuals, particularly young people, to embrace their uniqueness, discover and nurture their talents, and pursue their passions. They believe that music and the arts can play an important role in helping unlock and unleash the limitless potential within each and every person.
