Heaux History

Heaux History

Heaux History is working on documenting Black, Brown, and Indigenous erotic labor histories and sex workers’ rights movements through essays, zines and other publications, digital archives, interviews, and film. They started with a crowd fund and dreams of filming a documentary. Those dreams grew with support from community and brainstorming sessions. It became clear over time that there was room for so much more. What they originally introduced as a film idea turned into an interdisciplinary initiative.
