History Time is Pete, a former history student who set themselves the challenge of writing one article on a ‘Pivotal Person’ from history every day for a year. Though they didn’t know it at the time, this was the beginning of History Time. Pete eventually began turning many of these articles into videos. By March 2018 their videos were finally monetised, and by early 2019, thanks in part to the incredible support of their patrons, they were able to quit their day job and focus on this project full time. Pete is a one man team, and costs quite a lot of money to maintain. Most days Pete enjoys having a very unimportant day job, watching lots of trashy TV, and taking the dogs for long walks.
