Holy Koolaid is a crowd-funded show. It’s free to watch because it’s crowd-funded. They’re responsible only to you: their fans/supporters. If you can’t stand pseudoscience and the harm it does, or like the way they counter it, then you should consider supporting them. You can find their videos fun, entertaining, and/or educational. Channel subscriber Thomas Westbrook, the host of Holy Koolaid, would gladly make videos for free, but sadly, he can’t afford to. Equipment costs, software, subscriptions to royalty-free footage sites and animation suites, travel to/housing at secular conferences, advertising, and website hosting are just a few of the many costs it takes to keep Holy Koolaid afloat and help it grow. Unfortunately, voices of reason are easily drowned out online by billion-dollar religious institutions, cult leaders, and peddlers of pseudoscience. As long as they have their supporters’ support, they’ll continue making regular videos fighting to promote science, free thought, and critical thinking.
