Howie Abel is on a path of adventure and nature, futility and love, the pitfalls of society and the struggles of our generation, epics on a cosmic scale and the individual pain of loss, how it feels to be unable to convey your thoughts to others, the plight of the voiceless, communicating loneliness… well, everything from the meaning of life to limericks. Nothing is off limits in his writing, and he wants to share that creative process with you too. His partner is a very talented illustrator, and it has been his pleasure to see his poems brought to life through her art. He can’t wait to share them with you. You can be part of the journey. You can share with him your love of poetry and he can reignite the flame of your creativity. He’ll make you laugh after a long day, but always give you something to think about. He’ll make you feel like you can conquer the world with just some lines of poetry. And with your help, who knows… maybe you can. They call me Howie. My friends and I are starting a company called Snacks N Stories. Some would describe me as artistic, eccentric, able to hold a conversation, a listener, an observer, a cynic, a pessimist, and a realist. My goal is to be immortalised through my written words, to have people a thousand years from now be reading and understanding my story. Unfortunately everyone calls me Howie.
