When Amanda shared this new method of artist support on her social media profiles in 2015, they were excited their early praises on Patreon are still out there. They created an account and supported Ms. Palmer, whose music they have always held dear. And for a whole while, that was it. Then they wandered a bit, found other artists and initiatives that they deemed worth their support, had to juggle their budget a bit, and were still very excited. The delighted them so much that they began to enlist their favorite artist to discover Patreon, convinced that this path would be exactly right for them. Because the platform was still relatively unknown in Germany for quite some time, it took about two years for them to gather enough nudges, and their favorite artist is now likely the most successful who can be found among German-speaking artists. Who knows, maybe having resources to create their art more fully will bring more sales and At their live events, sales are already going well because of their generous guarantees. What will happen if they can create even more freely and have far more time to do so?
